Membership Information

CRA membership provides you with valuable literacy opportunities, including:

The California Reader, published 3 times a year and available by mail (additional $15) or online (no cost).
Reduced member rates at the annual conference.
Links to your local network of educators with a shared interest in promoting literacy opportunities.
The intrinsic reward of making a professional commitment to literacy with colleagues in your area.

Membership with Digital California Reader

Annual fee: $40.00

*PayPal fees will be applied at checkout. PayPal charges 2.99% plus .50 for each transaction.

By mail: Membership Form
CRA will forward your name to your local reading council’s membership chairperson. You will be added to their membership list and you will begin receiving CRA and local council program notices and publications digitally.

Membership with Hardcopy California Reader

Annual fee: $55.00

Out of State Membership

Annual Fees: Digital/Hardcopy
1-year membership: $35.00/$50.00
2-year membership: $60.00/$75.00
3-year membership: $85.00/$100.00

Membership comes with a subscription for The California Reader. You may select the membership you’d like with either a DIGITAL or HARDCOPY of the journal. The hardcopy costs an additional $15.00.

Institutional Membership

Annual Fees: Digital/Hardcopy
1-year membership: $75.00/$90.00
2-year membership: $140.00/$155.00
3-year membership: $200.00/$215.00
